Korean Cultural Heritage Society showcases Korean Festival Gala Concert 2024: Opera Arias & Korean Lyric Songs with Vancouver Pilgrim Orchestra.
Four Korean singers well known internationally are invited to perform at Massey Theatre this year.
Most popular opera arias will be sung by four classical music singers such as Nessun dorma, Non più andrai, Song to the Moon, Habanera, Flower duet, Au fond du temple saint, etc.
Also, popular Korean lyric songs will be performed such as New Arirang, Longing for Mt. Geumgang, The village in the mountain, etc.
The Vancouver Pilgrim Orchestra, conducted by Peter Suk will accompany an array of Opera Arias & Korean lyric songs along with classical symphonic masterpieces: Beethoven’s Leonore Overture No.3 and Bizet’s Carmen Suite No. 1: V. Les toréadors.
Join us for this monumental night of culture, symphonic music and excitement.
